Webinar "Meeting Customer Requirements" with Agrosad
A summary of the webinar organized by WiOM in cooperation with Agrosad, focused on maintaining quality standards in potato and onion production.
During the online training organized by WiOM in cooperation with the company from Równa, Agrosad’s Contracting Manager, Rafał Woźniak, discussed the issue of maintaining quality standards in the field. He characterized the most common defects that occur during cultivation and harvesting. He also talked about the classification of potato varieties according to various criteria, such as production and trade resistance, storage resistance, and culinary types.
He also explained the GlobalGAP standard, which is usually required by retail chains. Meanwhile, Rafał Wągrowski, Agrosad’s Quality Management Manager, spoke about maintaining quality standards during production. He described the most common defects that arise during raw material storage and the changes in raw material quality over the season.
He discussed cooperation between suppliers and retail chains as well as the creation of new products. He also introduced the participants to the concept of production tests, explaining quantity trials and the classification of raw materials and packaging.
